Megan Anna Rapinoe is a Californian who was born on July 5, 1985. Megan started playing soccer as an infant and developed her skill during her teenage years. Rachael is her twin sister and she attended University of Portland together. A sprain in her knee caused her to rest for a few seasons in her junior and sophomore seasons. As a senior returning to full-time soccer, and started all of the matches during the season. Following the WPS broke up the team was renamed Seattle Reign FC (now OL Reign) of the National Women's Soccer League NWSL. Rapinoe's two goals were the result of a four-three United States victory against Australia in the Olympics of 2020 in Tokyo.
